Job Vacancy: Freelance Draughtsman

About the Role

We are seeking a Part Time / Freelance to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving machines and mechanical systems to support our production and project requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for FFB machines, components, and equipment using CAD software (mainly using SolidWorks, or equivalent).
  • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Conduct calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies to ensure design integrity and performance.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and procurement teams to ensure manufacturability and functionality of designs.
  • Perform prototype testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement on existing machines.
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety standards and engineering principles.
  • Participate in project planning, budgeting, and progress reporting.
  • Support site demo/testing and provide technical input.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in machine design or mechanical equipment development.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other 3D CAD software.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (fabrication, machining, assembly).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with automation, hydraulics, or pneumatics is an advantage.

Remarks:

  • Working Time 08.15am pm (Rest 12.30pm-01.30pm)
  • We will provide lunch
  • Salary will pay by weekly

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Freelance

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM RM100.00 per day
