About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
SAP Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) Consultant
to support a
SAP S/4HANA Readiness Assessment project
for a major client in the energy and engineering sector.

This role is responsible for assessing, designing, and providing expert input on JVA processes within SAP ECC and preparing for S/4HANA migration readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the
  SAP S/4HANA Readiness Assessment
  , focusing on JVA-related modules and integration points.
• Analyze the client's existing
  SAP ECC Finance and Controlling (FI/CO)
  landscape and Joint Venture Accounting configurations.
• Conduct
  fit-gap analysis
  , identify simplification opportunities, and recommend process optimizations.
• Support
  technical and functional assessments
  related to JVA, PSA, and FI/CO integration.
• Work closely with
  Finance, Project Systems (PS), and Controlling
  teams to ensure data and process alignment.
• Provide expertise on
  migration strategy
  , business process redesign, and readiness documentation.
• Collaborate with the
  project manager, technical consultants, and business users
  throughout the readiness phase.

Requirements

• Minimum
  7 years of SAP experience
  , with at least
  3 full-cycle SAP JVA project implementations
  .
• Deep understanding of
  SAP JVA, FI/CO, and PSA
  modules (Oil & Gas industry background is a strong advantage).
• Experience with
  SAP S/4HANA projects or readiness assessment
  preferred.
• Strong knowledge of
  integration with Finance, Project Systems, and Controlling
  .
• Proven ability to lead workshops, document processes, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with
  SAP Activate methodology
  .
• Exposure to
  SAP IS-Oil & Gas solution
  .
• Experience working in
  multi-country or global SAP rollouts
