We are on the lookout for a
Director of IT
to be part of the dynamic team to build a next generation digital insurer. We are a small but dynamic bunch, working hard to bring a new digital product proposition to the market quickly. That means you will be part of the core team that shapes the product and the direction of our next stage

You will be leading the technology team, overseeing the technology development, cloud infrastructure, systems maintenance, ensuring cybersecurity and coordinating with other departments to meet business goals. You will also manage the technology budgets, stay informed about emerging technologies to drive innovation and operational success.

YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Minimum 5 years of experiences in managing and leading a team of 15 or more members to design, develop and maintain enterprise grade systems and Apps using latest technologies and agile way of working.
  • Minimum 5 years of experiences in managing and leading a team of members to design, develop and maintain secure enterprise grade cloud agnostic infrastructure using modern architecture including infrastructure-as-code, containerization, clustering, auto scalability, self-healing, etc.
  • Good experiences in establishing software development lifecycle policies and processes (e.g. Source control management, test management, defects management, etc.) and good design principles with continuous integration/continuous deployment.
  • Good experiences in establishing cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and DevSecOps policies and processes.
  • Good experiences in IT budgets management, expenses forecast, and resource allocations to ensure cost-effective technology development and operation.
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend new technologies, software, and hardware solutions to improve efficiency and support business goals.
  • Experiences in technology management role for a regulated financial services company will be an added advantage.
  • Experiences in AI applications design and development will be an added advantage.
