About the role

As an Interior Designer at Bestmas (M) Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional interior design solutions that bring our clients' visions to life. This full-time role is based in Shah Alam, Selangor, and will see you collaborating closely with the wider design team to deliver exceptional results.

What you'll be doing

  1. Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and design preferences
  2. Conceptualising and developing innovative interior design ideas and solutions
  3. Preparing detailed design plans, drawings, and specifications
  4. Sourcing and selecting appropriate materials, furniture, and finishes
  5. Overseeing the implementation of design plans and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards
  6. Maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and contractors
  7. Providing expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the design process

What we're looking for

  1. A degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in a commercial or residential setting
  3. Strong technical skills in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
  4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  5. Outstanding communication and client-facing skills
  6. Keen eye for detail and a flair for creativity
  7. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
