Industrial Technican

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize labour utilization, ergonomics, and workplace safety compliance for cable industry
• Analyse and improve existing manufacturing workflows and processes using lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and data-driven techniques while ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.
• Identify and implement process optimization opportunities, including automation, capacity planning, material handling improvements, and safety risk mitigation.
• Design and implement production layouts and material flow plans with consideration for safe operating practices and emergency evacuation routes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Safety & Health (EHS), to identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
• Support continuous improvement efforts through data analysis, problem-solving, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Science field, or 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• For Senior Engineer, minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Familiar with Manufacturing Processes and Safety & Environmental practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to interpret mechanical drawings.
• Familiar with ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, RBA requirements, DOE/DOSH or other relevant Malaysian regulatory guidelines related to Safety & Industrial Engineering.
• Possession of Environmental/Safety certifications such as CEPWSWAM, CEPIETSO, SHO, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM1,700.00 per month
