Laboratory Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting laboratory analysis.
• Understand ASTM standards and procedures.
• Understand and keep current with all laboratory safety and reporting techniques, as well as analysis methods.
• Work with all chemicals, petrochemical and petroleum products with accurate colours differentiation by sight.
• Complete all laboratory reports with high accuracy and special attention to details.
• Adapt to Good Lab Practice and have initiative to perform housekeeping before and after work.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, while directing numerous projects concurrently with different deadlines.
• Multi-task and perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, positive attitude and good teamwork; dependable and reliable.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Science / Chemistry or related field.
• Candidate with at least 2-3 years relevant experiences in renewables, Fuel Oil, or commercial laboratory settings is an added advantage (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and integrity — accuracy of results is critical to business success.
• Ability to understand and apply EN / ISO / ASTM standards and procedures.
• Must be able to work with Fuel Oil, renewable feedstock oils, chemical reagents, and related green energy products.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, while managing multiple analyses and tasks concurrently with diverse timelines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and communicate results effectively to stakeholders.
• High level of accuracy is required, with meticulous attention to analytical detail.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Must have a positive attitude, demonstrate professionalism, and contribute to a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Ability to adapt to Good Lab Practice (GLP) and continuous quality improvement standards.
• Demonstrates initiative to maintain laboratory organization and housekeeping before and after work.
• Position requires a dependable, reliable, and accountable individual whose daily contribution supports the operational success of the laboratory and its clients.
• Required to work under a rotating 12-hour shift.
