Responsibilities:

Act as the primary liaison with Labuan FSA and other relevant authorities on all compliance and regulatory matters, ensuring timely and accurate submission of regulatory filings, reports, and correspondence.

Develop, implement, and continuous enhancement of AML/CFT frameworks, policies, and procedures.

Review and assess client onboarding documentation to ensure strict compliance with AML, KYC, and CFT standards.

Provide expert compliance and regulatory advice to management and business units, and support the management in maintaining high standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct.

Conduct internal compliance reviews, and audits to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and internal policies. Recommend corrective and preventive action to mitigate compliance risks.

Develop, maintain, and update compliance manuals, frameworks, and policies to align with current regulatory requirements and ensure proper documentation.

Deliver compliance training programs for all staff to promote a strong culture of compliance across the organization.

Monitor, analyse, and interpret regulatory development, advising management on potential impact to operations and strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2- 3 of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs, preferably within the banking, investment, or financial services regulated under Labuan FSA.
  • Good understanding of LFSA regulations, AMLA, and related Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines.
  • Certification related to the role will be an advantage.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English (proficiency in additional language is an added advantage)
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling sensitive regulatory information.
  • Strong analytical skill, data literacy, and attention to detail.
