Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Site Clerk located in Petaling Jaya (Site based). The Site Clerk will be responsible for daily administrative duties such as managing and filing documents, maintaining records of materials and workers, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, and assisting site managers with various tasks.
Job Requirement
- Minimum SPM Level
- 1-2 years work experience as a clerk or administrative assistant, preferably in a construction or project-based environment.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision, teamwork and good communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office ( Words, Excel, Powerpoint).
- Work Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
Job Responsibilities
- Implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH Management System.
- Comply with client and applicable legal and other requirements.
- Implement plan actions from risks and opportunities assessment.
- Assist in general office works such as typing letters, documents and reports.
- Maintain and organize construction documents such as drawings, permits and reports.
- Facilitate effective communication between construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Control, maintain and update the flow of information around the team. All documents (including records) shall be filed regularly as per Project Filing System.
- Assist Project Manager in purchasing, recording and issuing of office equipment, stationeries and provisions to staff.
- Attend to all incoming and outgoing mail/fax/document received and forwarded/distribute to project team accordingly.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, appointment, and project-related activities.
- Monitor and manage office supplies to ensure availability for smooth operations.
- Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
