Designation: QC Assistant

Job Summary

The QC Assistant is responsible for supporting quality control activities on the production floor to ensure all finished products meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company procedures. The role involves inspections, documentation, and close coordination with production teams to maintain consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality checks on finished products produced from machines to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Complete, update, and maintain machine and quality records in accordance with SIRIM requirements and internal quality procedures.
  • Prepare and submit daily product samples for quality inspection and testing.
  • Work closely with machine operators and team members to ensure product quality is consistently maintained.
  • Identify, report, and escalate defects, abnormalities, or quality issues to the supervisor immediately.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety, hygiene, and production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production and quality processes as required.

Role Requirements

  • Minimum SPM qualification; Certificate in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, or a related field is an added advantage.
  • Preferably with experience in quality control, production, or a manufacturing environment (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Ability to understand and follow SOPs, quality standards, and documentation requirements (e.g., SIRIM).
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively with operators and team members.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to accurately identify quality issues.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry, reporting, and record-keeping.
  • Willingness to work on the production floor and perform routine inspections and checks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM3,000.00 per month
