Role Overview

As a Beauty Advisor for SIMPLYSITI at Sunway Putra Mall, you will be the face of the brand in-store. You are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, sharing your passion for beauty, educating customers about our skincare, makeup and accessory ranges, and driving sales to meet KPIs. You will represent the SIMPLYSITI brand values, maintain a showroom-ready counter, and collaborate with the store team to create a memorable retail experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers proactively; build rapport and trust.
  • Provide expert advice on skincare and makeup solutions aligned with the SIMPLYSITI brand, including explaining product features, benefits and how to use them.
  • Demonstrate application techniques (makeup, skincare regime) and provide personalised recommendations.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets, upsell/cross-sell and build customer loyalty.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge — stay current with new launches, ingredients, trends and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure the counter/display is presented according to brand standards — clean, tidy, fully stocked, merchandised and aligned with planogram guidelines.
  • Manage stock levels, monitor expiry dates, assist with inventory counts, and report any shrinkage or loss.
  • Participate in in-store events, promotions, product launch activations and GWP activities.
  • Handle customer feedback or questions in a professional, timely manner; escalate when needed.
  • Collaborate with store management and brand manager for campaign execution and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Adhere to SOPs, brand grooming standards, health & safety standards, and store policies.
  • Maintain product samples and testers; ensure they are hygienic, replenished and ready for customer use.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent; Diploma in Beauty / Cosmetics / Retail is a plus.
  • Previous retail/beauty advisor experience (preferably 1–2 years) in cosmetics, skincare or beauty retail.
  • Passionate about beauty and wellness, makeup and skincare trends.
  • Strong customer-service orientation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Sales-driven mindset, target-oriented, self-motivated and proactive.
  • Good grooming, professional appearance, and brand-aligned attitude.
  • Comfortable using retail systems/point-of-sale and basic digital tools.
  • Flexible to work weekends, public holidays and rotating shifts as required.
  • Additional languages (Malay, English, Mandarin) are a plus.
