About the Role

We are seeking a highly creative and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on exposure to both online and offline marketing, campaign strategy, and cross-department collaboration. You will learn directly from experienced industry professionals while contributing meaningfully to real marketing projects.

This internship is perfect for someone who is obsessed with social media, trends, and fresh ideas, and wants to experience the full spectrum of the marketing world.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Planning & Strategy

  • Assist in developing structured marketing plans using SOSTAC, SWOT, PESTLE, 5C Analysis, and other strategic tools.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer insights.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to identify new marketing opportunities.

2. Creative Campaign Development

  • Contribute ideas for online and offline marketing campaigns.
  • Stay up to date with trending topics, viral content, and platform updates.
  • Support cross-collaboration with internal departments for campaign alignment.

3. Content Creation & Creative Support

  • Assist in creating visuals, mockups, and marketing materials.
  • Support social media content ideation and production.
  • Create or edit basic videos for social media, events, and marketing campaigns.

4. Reporting, Coordination & Analytics

  • Help monitor campaign performance using basic analytics tools.
  • Prepare weekly reports and summaries.
  • Coordinate communication across teams to ensure smooth execution.

Required Skills

  • Able to use editing and design tools such as:
  • Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Able to perform basic video editing using:
  • CapCut, iMovie, or Final Cut Pro
  • Good understanding of social media platforms and trends
  • Able to speak, read, and write in English (Malay is a bonus)
  • Must have an existing portfolio (influencer content, personal projects, freelance, or university work)
