We are looking for a Service Automation Engineer with strong expertise in monitoring and performance tools to support automation initiatives within IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Splunk and ITRS Geneos, along with scripting skills for automation and system optimization. This role requires a proactive individual who can configure, maintain, and enhance monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using Splunk and ITRS Geneos.
  • Configure Geneos Gateway and manage performance dashboards.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to streamline operational tasks.
  • Monitor system health and performance across Unix/Linux environments.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to monitoring tools and automation processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Splunk for monitoring and performance analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with ITRS Geneos Gateway Configuration.
  • Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation
  • Solid understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in service automation or monitoring engineering

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring tools and performance management solutions.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure components and enterprise systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
