Job Summary

The He
ad of Internal Audit and Risk Management
will lead and oversee the company's internal audit and risk management functions to ensure strong governance, internal control, and compliance across all business operations. This role requires a highly detailed, analytical, and strategic professional with deep experience in Retail, FMCG, or Luxury Retail industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the internal audit plan in line with company objectives and risk profile.
  • Conduct independent reviews and audits of business processes, financial records, and internal controls.
  • Identify and assess key business risks, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  • Present clear, comprehensive audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the Audit Committee.
  • Lead and manage the internal audit team to ensure timely delivery of audit assignments.
  • Collaborate with various departments to strengthen control processes and promote a culture of risk awareness.
  • Oversee enterprise risk management (ERM) framework and maintain a robust risk register.
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and report progress to management and the Board.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Minimum
    8 years of relevant experience
    , with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Strong background in
    Retail, FMCG, or Luxury Retail / High-Value Items
    industry.
  • Proven ability to evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
