Draughtsman / Drafter

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Draughtsman to assist in creating and revising technical drawings using CAD software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise 2D drawings such as: General arrangements, Layouts, Sections and elevations
• Interpret sketches, notes, and verbal instructions from engineers or supervisors
• Maintain organized drawing files and ensure version control
• Assist in updating as-built drawings
• Follow company CAD standards and templates
• Collaborate with other engineers and draftsmen on drawing production

Requirements:Education:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil / Mechanical or a related field.

Experience:

• 0–2 years experience in general drafting roles
• Advantage if previously involved in: Pipeline route drawings, Utility or infrastructure projects, Oil & gas site layouts

Software Skills:

• AutoCAD (2D) – required
• Familiar with basic drawing tools (linework, blocks, dimensions, layers)
• MS Office (Excel, Word) – basic level

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn and improve CAD skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team
• Organized and responsible with file handling

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
