Department Details Role Summary

1 Plan and manage all fire safety activities to ensure facilities are regularly inspected
and comply with applicable fire safety legislation.
2 Act as a liaison with BOMBA and other regulatory bodies; coordinate and
communicate with local authorities on fire safety-related matters.
3 Generate and maintain documentation such as procedures, protocols, and reports
related to OSHA, BOMBA, NFPA, fire insurance, and other legal requirements.
4 Plan, coordinate, and implement fire-related emergency response operations in
collaboration with BOMBA.
5 Provide fire safety training, including fire prevention, fire drills, and the use of fire
extinguishers.
6 Ensure all documentation related to fire safety inspections and fire insurance is
current, accurate, and well-maintained.
7 Conduct HAZMAT training sessions and other EHS-related trainings as required.
8 Communicate with external vendors for site services, repairs, and maintenance
related to fire safety and EHS systems.
9 Effectively manage vendors engaged in fire system maintenance to ensure
performance meets safety and compliance standards.
10 Responsible for ensuring all Area Gas Testers (AGTs) and gas detectors are
functional, calibrated, and stored appropriately.
11 Coordinate and manage permit-to-work issuance across the site.
12 Ensure smooth execution of internal and external audits related to QMS and EHS
management systems.
13 Actively participate in audits and ensure timely closure of all audit findings.
14 Prepare and submit the annual fire safety budget and monitor actual expenditure
against approved allocations.
15 Prepare and submit reports and periodic updates to the reporting manager on fire
and EHS matters.
16 Enhance safety awareness at the site by implementing safety campaigns and
predetermined programs set by the department.
17 Serve as Internal Auditor and Lead Auditor for ISO Occupational Health &
Safety) and ISO Environmental Management System).
18 Lead and manage the Emergency Response Team (ERT) at the premise, ensuring
readiness and effectiveness.
19 As a training coordinator to coordinate the safety trainings with assigned
department.
20 Perform general duties of an EHS Officer including site inspections, hazard
identification, incident investigation, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring
21 Managing DOSH machineries inspection and related compliances
22 Lead the project expansion in term of EHS matters and engaging with Project team
and contractors.
23 Any other responsible task required by the reporting manage

Educational Qualifications

Required Education Qualification: B.Sc

Required Experience: 6 - 8 years
