About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Rigid Metal Tech Sdn Bhd. As a full-time Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing facility in Klang, Selangor. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring efficient production, maintaining high quality standards, and leading a team of skilled technicians to achieve our business objectives.

What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating the work of production teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of manufacturing tasks
  2. Monitoring production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to maintain quality and productivity
  3. Providing guidance, training, and support to production staff to enhance their skills and performance
  4. Collaborating with other departments, such as procurement and maintenance, to ensure the availability of necessary resources and equipment
  5. Analysing production data, generating reports, and making recommendations to enhance overall operational efficiency
  6. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
  7. Actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives and implementing lean manufacturing principles

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry
  2. Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and lean manufacturing principles
  3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
  4. Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
  5. Proficient in reading and interpreting production data, technical drawings, and process documents
  6. Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and compliance requirements
  7. Diploma or degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering or Production Management
