Job Title: Marine Consultant

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Marine Consultant to join our team, providing expert advice and support on marine operations, logistics, and compliance. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and safe execution of marine projects while maintaining regulatory and client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical and operational consultancy for marine, offshore, and shipping-related activities.
Review and advise on vessel operations, chartering, and logistics arrangements.
Conduct risk assessments, feasibility studies, and operational audits for marine projects.
Prepare and review marine documentation including voyage plans, cargo handling procedures, and compliance reports.
Liaise with port authorities, agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to international and local maritime regulations.
Monitor vessel performance, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
Support project teams in planning ship-to-ship (STS) operations, loading/discharging activities, and port operations.
Provide training, guidance, and technical support to clients or internal staff on marine safety and best practices.
Investigate marine incidents or near misses and recommend preventive actions.
Requirements:
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, Maritime Studies,business or a related field.
Minimum 1 years of experience in the maritime, offshore, or shipping industry. Fresh are welcome to apply; training will be provided.
Strong knowledge of IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, and ISM Code regulations.
Experience in port operations, vessel inspections, or marine risk assessment will be an advantage.
Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills. Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is considered a valuable asset.
Ability to work independently and travel for on-site assignments when required.
