POSITION : COMMERCIAL VAN DRIVER

LOCATION : KOTA DAMANSARA, PETALING JAYA

SALARY MIN RM2,500.00 MAX RM 2,800.00

EMPLOYMENT TYPE : FULL TIME

WORK HOURS : SHIFT BASED

WORKING DAYS : 6 DAYS/WEEK (1 OFF DAY)

As a Commercial Van Driver with us, you will be responsible for safely delivering goods and products to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of driving experience, hold a valid commercial drivers certification, and have a clean driving record.

This position requires flexibility, including working weekends. The Van Driver plays a key role in maintaining the stores delivery operations, ensuring a professional and reliable service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Driving and Delivery:

- Safely operate the company van to transport goods to customers and other

locations, maintain delivery logs.

- Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to assigned schedules and routes.

- Load and unload products from the van, ensuring goods are securely packed to prevent damage.

- Follow all traffic laws and company safety standards during transport.

2. Customer Service:

- Provide excellent customer service when delivering goods by being punctual,

courteous, and professional.

- Communicate with customers about delivery times and handle any queries

regarding deliveries.

- Obtain customer signatures and manage delivery documentation where required.

3. Vehicle Maintenance:

- Perform routine checks on the van, including fuel, oil, and tires, and report any maintenance or repair needs to management.

- Keep the van clean and ensure it is in good working condition at all times.

- Follow all safety procedures for vehicle operations, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

4. General Duties:

- Assist in loading products from the store or warehouse into the van.

- Collaborate with store personnel to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of

products.

- Report any delays, accidents, or other incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications and Skills:


- Minimum 2 years of driving experience, preferably in a delivery or logistics role.
- Valid commercial/goods drivers certification is required (CDL/GDL or equivalent).
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Ability to work weekends, public holidays and flexible hours as needed.

- Comfortable
with a reasonable amount of physical labor (lifting and/or
moving product, assist in the loading/unloading
of stock)

Compensation:

Basic Salary RM 2,500.00 to RM 2, based on experience)
