Employment type: Full-time (Seasonal: Feb – Nov)

About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, organized, and service-oriented Front Desk Officer cum Admin Executive to join our team on beautiful Tioman Island. You'll be based right by the sea – with a view of the ocean from your desk – and work with both our resort and dive operations.

This is a seasonal position, where you'll be based on the island from February to November. During the monsoon off-season (mid-Nov – early Feb), the resort and dive centre close, and staff take unpaid leave.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs professionally and efficiently.
  • Manage room reservations (including nearby partner resorts when required).
  • Manage OTA reservations
  • Act as the main contact for guests at the front desk.
  • Supervise housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, functional, and guest-ready.
  • Prepare and record breakfast and resort vouchers using Excel.
  • Prepare and record other resort payments and local hotel taxes using Excel
  • Create invoices using our easy to learn software and handle payments.
  • Support administrative work for the hotel, dormitory, and dive centre.
  • Maintain booking records and inventory of resort supplies.
  • Assist with customer communications and day-to-day resort operations.
  • Perform other related duties as required by the management team.
Requirements
  • Outgoing, friendly personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa and preferably Chinese
  • Strong organizational and multitasking ability with great attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook).
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Tourism, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in direct customer service or hospitality required.
  • Willing to live and work on a tropical island – no traffic jams, but no shopping malls either
  • Comfortable with a seasonal work schedule (approx. 9 1/2 months per year).
