About the role

Stupiak's Pork Burger is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Cashier/Kitchen Assistant/Leader in our restaurant in Kuching, Sarawak. In this casual role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting in the kitchen, and potentially leading a team of staff.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greeting and seating customers, taking orders, and delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely and friendly manner
  2. Maintaining a clean and organised dining area, ensuring tables are set and cleared efficiently
  3. Assisting in the kitchen with food preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes
  4. Handling cash and card transactions as a cashier, balancing tills and reconciling sales
  5. Potentially leading and supervising a team of wait staff and kitchen assistants
  6. Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a restaurant setting
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service
  3. Proficiency in handling cash and card transactions
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
  5. Good organisational and multitasking skills
  6. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a food service environment
  7. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese
