Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using OpenText AppWorks platform.
  • Build and enhance workflow processes, forms, rules, and service integrations.
  • Develop front-end components using JavaScript and back-end components using Java.
  • Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform database troubleshooting in MS SQL.
  • Manage and support application deployments on Windows Server environments.
  • Integrate AppWorks applications with enterprise systems and APIs.
  • Collaborate with business users, architects, and QA teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Work on AML-related application components, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and resolve production issues, ensuring application stability and performance.
  • Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment guides.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong hands-on experience with OpenText AppWorks.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL (queries, procedures, performance tuning).
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript for UI development.
  • Experience with Java for backend or service-layer development.
  • Good understanding of Windows Server administration, services, and application deployment.
  • Exposure to AML systems, financial compliance workflows, or regulatory processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in an Agile environment and manage tasks independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience integrating AppWorks with external systems via REST/SOAP services.
  • Knowledge of BPM, workflow engines, or content management systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version-control systems (Git).
  • Experience in BFSI domain is a plus.
