About the Role

Our client, a leading global manufacturing and technology company, is seeking an experienced SAP Consultant specializing in GL, SD, and MM modules to support ongoing global projects and system enhancements.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to configure, optimize, and support SAP solutions that drive operational excellence across logistics, finance, and sales processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end functional and technical support for SAP GL, SD, and MM modules, ensuring seamless system integration and performance.
  • Configure and enhance SAP modules to align with evolving business requirements, particularly in logistics, sales & distribution, procurement, and finance.
  • Support ongoing project initiatives and system rollouts through solution design, configuration, testing, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to analyze requirements, resolve system issues, and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Develop functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP developers for custom developments and code optimization.
  • Troubleshoot and debug SAP-related issues to ensure stability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with international tax, legal, and reporting requirements in all SAP configurations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in SAP SD, MM, and/or GL module configuration, implementation, and support.
  • Proven background in the manufacturing or logistics industry.

  • Strong understanding of:

  • Order to Cash (OTC) and Procure to Pay (PTP) processes.

  • Integration points between SD, MM, and FICO modules.
  • Procurement, inventory management, and logistics workflows.
  • Ability to debug and optimize code, and work effectively with development teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluent English communication (spoken and written) is required; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
  • Experience with global or large-scale SAP projects (Lenovo-related experience is a plus).

  • Familiarity with international tax and legal compliance within SAP.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.
  • Proactive and accountable approach to deliverables and continuous improvement.
