About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Scientific Editor play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our scientific publications, contributing to the company's mission of delivering high-calibre content to our readers.

What you'll be doing

• Thoroughly reviewing, creating and editing scientific manuscripts to ensure adherence to style guidelines, grammatical accuracy, and clarity of language.
• Collaborating with authors to provide feedback, suggestions, and guidance to improve the overall quality of submitted works.
• Fact-checking and verifying the accuracy of scientific data, references, and citations with applying AI tools (ChatGPT, Scite, Elicit) to support writing and synthesis.
• Coordinating the editorial review process, including managing timelines and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in scientific publishing.

What we're looking for

• Preferably a PHD candidate in Medical / Pharmacy / Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent.
• Must have experience in publishing research articles.
• A strong understanding of scientific research methodologies, experimental design, and data analysis.
• Excellent command of the English language, with the ability to write and edit with clarity, concision, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with authors and other stakeholders.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high editorial standards.
