We are seeking a senior-level
Technology Liaison Officer
to serve as the bridge between operational teams and IT leadership. This role ensures seamless coordination, alignment, and communication between the client's business operations and the technology service provider. The ideal candidate has strong business acumen, deep understanding of IT environments, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Technology Liaison Officer (COO Level)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor (Locals Only)

Experience: 15+ Years

Role Type: Onsite

Industry: Healthcare / Hospitality / Service Sector (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities

1. Business & Process Analysis

Work closely with users and management to understand operational workflows and challenges.

Identify technology-driven improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting.

Translate business needs into actionable requirements for IT/system teams.

Document workflows, process maps, and recommendations for enhancements.

2. Technology Coordination & Alignment

Act as the on-site technology representative ensuring alignment between client operations and IT service delivery.

Coordinate system upgrades, changes, or new implementations with minimal disruption.

Support testing, user feedback collection, and training for new systems or enhancements.

Monitor system usability and provide actionable insights without hands-on technical responsibilities.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders and internal technical teams.

Facilitate discussions, workshops, and meetings on tech-related topics.

Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.

Build and maintain strong relationships across business and IT leadership teams.

4. Reporting & Strategic Insight

Gather and analyze user feedback and operational data for decision support.

Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and improvement initiatives.

Track technology project progress and ensure alignment with business goals.

Contribute to digital transformation initiatives and future system planning.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business Information Systems, or related fields.

Work Experience

6–8 years in IT coordination, business systems analysis, or technology liaison roles.

Experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service industries is highly advantageous.

Total experience suitable for a 15+ year mature professional in a COO-facing liaison role.

Core Competencies

Strong understanding of IT applications, infrastructure, and user systems.

Ability to document business processes, requirements, and workflows.

Familiarity with digital transformation, data management, and user support lifecycles.

Proficient in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation.

Interpersonal & Business Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Strong business acumen and understanding of operational priorities.

Clear communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical teams.

Professional, organized, self-directed, and comfortable in client-facing roles.

Ability to work independently while staying aligned with central IT leadership.
