Surveillance Trainee

Responsibilities:

Surveillance Trainee will offer security to survey locations by way of Close Circuit Television (CCTV) applications, responsible for the visual security of assigned areas as deemed necessary by the Surveillance Executive/ Surveillance Management. The fundamental role of the Surveillance Trainee will be the protection of company assets utilizing CCTV resources.

• Ensure that CCTV systems are being fully utilized so as to protect company assets by live monitoring, or review of prior recorded video footage.
• To monitor and report to the Surveillance Executive/Surveillance Management, any violations of policy and procedure as outlined by StarDream Cruises and listed within associated Surveillance Manuals.
• To ensure that a full understanding of departmental objectives and policy is maintained through continued study.
• To ensure a full understanding of all game types and department operations within Club areas.
• To maintain a professional standard in all aspects of assigned duties, both internal and external to the Surveillance Department.
• To ensure that a professional standard is maintained when dealing with fellow departments via telephone, two-way radio or in person.
• To adhere to ship / shore policy (Surveillance Operator) and further have full understanding of the evacuation and emergency procedures for both the Surveillance Department and Club areas.
• To forward all known information which could be regarded as undermining the security/ integrity of the operation to Surveillance Management. Under no circumstance will a Surveillance Trainee commence investigation / monitoring of / into an area which could be regarded as a conflict of interest without the prior specific knowledge of Surveillance Management.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or Nursing.
• Do not require any experience in surveillance or casino related environment.
• Effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
• Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
• Is a ship-based position and requires working onboard the ship under contractual terms (8 months). accommodation, food, and uniforms are provided by the company.
