JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the inspection, maintenance and operation of electrical system in the biogas plant.
  • Plan, coordinate, implement & monitor preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance of electrical supply, power generation, distribution, LV & HV substation, transformer, electronic control, PLC system, instrumentation and mechanical system.
  • Report to Plant Engineer and Manager -Renewable Energy (Biogas).
  • Ensure all relevant laws and regulations relating to electrical system and installation are complied with.
  • Work closely with electrical contractors and equipment supplier.
  • Assist Plant Engineer to supervise plant operation and maintenance.
  • Assist on the overall maintenance to keep plant at tip top condition and prevent breakdown.
  • Assist Plant Engineer for the certification system.
  • Other duties as and when is required by the management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Possesses BO Certificate Chargeman.
  • Possess Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent; or electrical certificate of competency will be an advantage.
  • 1-2 years' experience in operation and maintenance of internal combustion engine is preferable.
  • Hands on experience in electrical, control and/or mechanical maintenance works related to chillers, pumps, motors and biogas engines.
  • Operating, process control and plant troubleshooting experience.
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office and other software's is preferred.
  • General computer skill.
  • Being self-disciplined, quick learner and motivation to learn.
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks as directed.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records as directed.
  • Location is at Simpang Renggam, Johor.
