The Executive Technical Support is responsible for the coordination of Vessel MGO / Lube Oil reporting, machineries breakdown monitoring/analyse, monitoring of preventive maintenance system, updating vessel inventories and providing monthly report for assisting operational team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Monitor the fuel consumption for all vessels to ensure the total monthly fuel consumption is within the allowable benchmark.
  2. Monitor and submit fuel consumption analysis for standby/idle on monthly basis to Senior Manager Technical for review.
  3. Update the status of fuel consumption to the Management whenever high consumption is incurred.
  4. Prepare Machinery breakdown and root-cause analysis by monitoring preventive maintenance system
  5. Ensure that other departments within the Company are getting the best support from the consolidated report.
  6. Act as a reference point on MGO / LO / Breakdown report from all user departments in the Company on all matters.
  7. Keep track vessel and warehouse inventories and provide monthly report
  8. Respond to ad-hoc requirement by Operation team / Charterer which requires intensive effort and to close within the timeline given. Assist team members in maintenance activities/dry docking
  9. Respond to ad-hoc requirement by Chartering team which requires to coordinate with vessel and technical Supt to fill up technical questionnaire, fuel consumption form and supporting document within the timeline given.
  10. Participate as a member of the Emergency Management Team (EMT), Safety Management Review Committee.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  2. Professional certification in marine operations or maintenance is an advantage.
  3. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marine fuel monitoring, vessel maintenance, or technical operations.
  4. Proven experience in preparing technical reports and root-cause analysis.
  5. Familiarity with vessel inventory management and preventive maintenance systems.
