Job Summary

KK Supermart & Superstore Sdn Bhd is looking for a passionate and talented Creative Designer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for both junior and senior-level designers to contribute to the creation of engaging marketing campaigns across digital and print platforms. As a part of our creative team, you'll play a key role in the development of assets for retail and F&B campaigns, with opportunities to grow in both skills and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

For Junior Designers

  • Assist in the creation of marketing materials including posters, flyers, social media visuals, EDMs, in-store assets, and product packaging.
  • Create engaging web and social media visuals (banners, stories, animations) aligned with campaign themes.
  • Support in producing point-of-sale (POS) materials, print ads, and product labels.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure design consistency and brand alignment.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Prepare artwork for print production, ensuring proper file setup and output.
  • Maintain and organize creative assets.

For Senior Designers

  • Lead the creative execution of integrated campaigns across print, digital, social, in-store, and outdoor media.
  • Oversee and develop creative assets for brand activations, store promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
  • Ensure brand consistency and maintain high design standards across all marketing channels.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, offering constructive feedback and ensuring high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and external vendors to interpret briefs and deliver impactful visuals.
  • Stay informed on design trends, retail marketing innovations, and technology to enhance creative direction.

Requirements

Junior Designer

  • Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of design experience (internships included). Fresh graduates with strong portfolios are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Basic understanding of digital content requirements for social platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Google).
  • Knowledge of print production processes and color proofing is a plus.
  • Good time management skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Senior Designer

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of design experience in-house or at an agency, with a preference for retail, FMCG, or lifestyle sectors.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing both print (packaging, POSM, brochures) and digital (social media, websites, email) design work.
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, with experience in video editing and motion graphics being an added advantage.
  • Proven experience managing production processes, including color proofing and press checks.
  • Strong visual storytelling, typography, and layout skills.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate with teams effectively.
