2.1 Mainframe System Support and Programming (Main Focus)

2.1.1 z/OS Support:

Configuration, and maintenance of the z/OS operating system and related software.

Operating system patching.

Support for z/OS subsystems (JES2, DFSMS, RMF, VTAM/TCPIP, PAGENT, SMF).

Technical support and troubleshooting for z/OS issues for level 1 and 2.

2.1.2 Hardware Support:

Coordination with hardware vendors for maintenance and repair of mainframe hardware components (e.g., CPUs, memory, I/O devices).

Monitoring of hardware performance and capacity.

Support for hardware upgrades and replacements.

2.1.3 Storage Management:

Maintenance of storage management policies and procedures (HSM, ACSRoutine).

Backup and recovery of mainframe data.

2.1.4 Middleware Support:

Support for CICS & CTG

Provide assistant in creation and maintenance of CICS definitions.

Perform level1 and level2 CICS-related issues troubleshooting.
