Medical Doctor Job Description:

The Medical Doctor (MD) is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients by diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses, injuries, and other physical or mental impairments. The MD delivers evidence-based, patient-centered care while maintaining the highest standards of medical ethics and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Patient Care

  • Provide high quality health and wellness client care
  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients for a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., blood tests, imaging studies).
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies according to established protocols and patient needs.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary.
  • Perform diagnostics and wellness treatments to clients and make sure clients understand the procedures and benefits.

2. Preventive Care & Education

  • Provide health education, counseling, and preventive care services.
  • Promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention strategies.
  • Participate in road shows and exhibitions.

3. Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with staff nurses, specialists, and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Refer patients to appropriate specialists when required.
  • Possess a nurturing and kind personality and display excellent communication skills.
  • Collaborates with other health care team members to develop healthcare plans that promote continuity for clients as they receive complementary and alternative health care.

4. Documentation

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital, clinic, and legal documentation standards.
  • Make sure all the clients folder are arranged according to the back end management system.

5. Professional Development & Compliance

  • Stay current with medical research, best practices, and continuing education requirements.
  • Adhere to all relevant medical regulations, ethical standards, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Completion of residency training in a recognized medical specialty (if applicable).
  • Board certification preferred (depending on specialty).
  • Able to work in a multicultural team
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Continue professional development activities
