The Role

As a QC Officer, you will be required to fulfill:

Incoming Material Inspection

• To inspect and verify the quality of incoming raw materials and packaging before they enter production.
• To ensure that materials meet internal specifications and reject non-conforming items.
• To record and report inspection results accurately for traceability.

In-Process Quality Control

• To perform regular quality checks during the production process to ensure consistency and compliance.
• To identify and report defects, deviations, or abnormalities to the relevant departments for immediate action.
• To verify proper production procedures are followed as per SOP and GMP standards.

Finished Goods Inspection & Release

• To inspect finished goods for visual, functional, and specification compliance before release.
• To verify labeling, packaging, and product presentation meet regulatory and brand requirements.
• To ensure defective products are segregated, reported, and managed according to company policy.

Documentation & Reporting

• To maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, non-conformance, and corrective actions.
• To assist in preparing quality reports for internal review and audits.
• To ensure all QC documentation is filed, stored, and accessible for traceability.

Cross-Functional Communication

• To work closely with production, warehouse, and QA teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• To support quality improvement initiatives and provide feedback for process enhancement.
• To assist in the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Diploma or Certificate in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, or ISO standards is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies or defects.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and recordkeeping tools.
• Able to work independently and make sound judgment in quality assessments.
• Mandarin-speaking is preferred to liaise with internal teams and read Chinese product labels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM2,800.00 per month
