About the role

Latimax Systems Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Software Support Engineer to join our team based in Cheras, Selangor. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for our software products, ensuring our clients receive the best possible service.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for our software products to clients
  • Investigate and resolve software-related issues reported by clients in a timely manner
  • Conduct software updates, patches and maintenance to ensure optimal performance
  • Document technical support processes and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Provide training and guidance to clients on the use of our software products
  • Installation, test, and maintain software applications and integration modules.
  • Design and implement efficient database queries, views, and stored procedures using SQL.
  • Integrate applications with external systems (e.g., HIS, EMR, APIs) using standard protocols.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, functional, and business stakeholders) to gather and validate integration requirements.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes and data flows.
  • Maintain documentation of technical solutions and integration configurations.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance, and security in all integration solutions.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in system integration, software support or technical support roles
  • Solid understanding of SQL (queries, joins, stored procedures).
  • Familiarity with integration tools or middleware (e.g., Mirth Connect, SSIS, API Gateways) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of integration protocols such as HL7, or JSON/XML.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve software issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients
  • Hands-on experience with software development tools and debugging techniques
  • Familiarity with software deployment, maintenance and update processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
