About the role

We are seeking an experienced Excavator Bucket Operator to join our construction team in Kuching, Sarawak. As a key member of our on-site operations, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining excavator equipment to support various construction projects. This is a full-time position that offers competitive remuneration and opportunities for professional development.

JOB RESPONBILITIES:

  1. Operate excavator machinery safely and efficiently to dig, load, and move materials on construction sites
  2. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on excavator equipment to ensure optimal performance
  3. Collaborate with the construction crew to coordinate excavation activities and meet project deadlines
  4. Identify and report any issues or malfunctions with excavator equipment to the site manager
  5. Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the worksite
  6. Participate in training programs to enhance your operating skills and knowledge

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavator machinery in a construction environment
  2. Strong understanding of excavator operation, maintenance, and safety protocols
  3. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  4. Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with the construction crew
  5. Certification in excavator operation or relevant construction equipment operation
  6. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding construction environment
