Audit Associate

About the Role

We are looking for an Audit Associate to join our team at KS Chia & Associates. If you have 1-2 years of audit experience, this role role offers an excellent opportunity for career progression, exposure to various industries, and hands-on experience with complex audit engagements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in statutory audits, including audit planning and finalization.
• Evaluate clients' internal controls and identify risks.
• Prepare financial statements in compliance with MFRS/MPERS.
• Prepare and review audit workpapers.
• Work closely with the audit team and clients to resolve issues.
• Assist with tax provision calculations (current and deferred).
• Stay updated on accounting standards and industry regulations.
• Utilize AMC/AXP Audit and other accounting software for audit procedures.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA, CPA, or equivalent preferred).
• 1-2 years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with AMC/AXP Audit software.
• Knowledge of international auditing standards.
