At SmileStudio Dental Clinic, we pride ourselves on providing high-quality, patient-focused dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are an established clinic in Sri Rampai, KL, offering a range of dental treatments from general dentistry to aesthetic and orthodontic care.

We are now looking for a dedicated and friendly Dental Surgery Assistant to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient clinical operations.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments, materials, and equipment in accordance with infection control standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of treatment rooms before and after procedures.
  • Manage patient flow — welcoming patients, preparing them for treatment, and ensuring their comfort throughout.
  • Record and update patient details, treatment notes, and other relevant documentation accurately.
  • Handle basic administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing stock of dental materials.
  • Provide chairside assistance during a variety of treatments (e.g., scaling, fillings, extractions, orthodontic adjustments).
  • Support post-operative care and provide patient education on oral hygiene when necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum SPM qualification (Certificate or Diploma in Dental Nursing / Dental Surgery Assisting is an advantage).
  • Prior experience in a dental clinic is preferred but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Good communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and/or Mandarin.
  • Friendly, professional, and responsible attitude.
  • Able to work as a team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Willing to learn and adapt to clinic protocols and new technologies.
