About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Music Teacher (Theory & Violin) to join the dynamic team at KYSA Education Sdn. Bhd. in Melaka. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to secondary school students, with a focus on music theory and violin instruction.

What you'll be doing

  1. Develop and deliver engaging music theory and violin lessons tailored to the needs of secondary school students
  2. Plan and organise regular recitals and performances to showcase student talent
  3. Collaborate with the school management team to align music curriculum with broader educational objectives
  4. Provide mentoring and support to help students reach their full potential
  5. Maintain accurate student records and provide regular progress updates to parents and school administration
  6. Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities to continuously enhance teaching practices

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Music Education or a related field
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience teaching music theory and violin at the secondary school level. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  3. Excellent command of music theory and violin performance techniques
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  5. Ability to create and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse student learning styles
