Finance & Accounts Manager

ACCONTABILITY

1.    Develop, review, and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls in line with company objectives.

2.    Plan and coordinate the annual budgeting process and monitor approved expenditures (OPEX & CAPEX).

3.    Review and analyze financial statements and management reports to provide insights for strategic decision-making.

4.    Monitor cash flow and fund utilization to ensure financial stability and sustainability.

5.    Oversee credit control and debt recovery to maximize collection and minimize outstanding receivables.

6.    Supervise, coach, and guide the finance and account team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

7.    Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

8.    Provide financial advice and recommendations to management on business performance and cost efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS

1.    Malaysia citizens.

2.    Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

3.    Preferably a member of a professional body such as MIA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.

4.    Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial/supervisory role.

5.    Strong knowledge of Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), Companies Act 2016, and local taxation requirements (SST, PCB, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, etc.).

6.    Proficient in accounting systems such as SQL, AutoCount, UBS, or equivalent.

7.    Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, both spoken and written.

8.    Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills with high attention to detail.

9.    Trustworthy, proactive, and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
