Key Responsibilities:

  1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance


• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and installations (e.g. LV panels, lighting, motors, pumps, and control systems).


• Respond promptly to electrical faults or breakdowns and carry out corrective actions to minimize downtime.

  1. Monitoring & Inspection


• Conduct daily inspections and monitoring of electrical systems to ensure optimal operation and safety.


• Record readings, findings, and maintenance activities accurately in logbooks or maintenance reports.

  1. Safety & Compliance


• Ensure all electrical work complies with Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) requirements and relevant statutory regulations.


• Adhere strictly to company safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and lockout/tagout practices.

  1. Support Services


• Assist the Chargeman in electrical troubleshooting, load testing, and system performance verification.


• Coordinate with other technical teams (mechanical, civil, housekeeping, etc.) to support integrated facility operations.

  1. Documentation & Reporting


• Maintain and update maintenance records, service reports, and inventory lists for electrical components and tools.


• Report any abnormalities, potential risks, or improvement opportunities to the supervisor.

  1. Standby & Emergency Response


• Participate in standby rotation for after-hours support and attend to emergency breakdowns as required.


• Provide assistance to the Facility Management team during power interruptions or other emergency situations.

  1. Other Duties


• Responsible for any additional tasks or assignments as directed by the superior from time to time.
