About the role

We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to join our dynamic team at Shinnix Automotive Sdn Bhd in Damansara, Selangor. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our finance and accounting operations, contributing to the overall success of the organisation. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements, invoices, and other financial documents
  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
  • Provide support in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions
  • Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
  • Perform data entry and other administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting or a related field
