Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Insider Risk Management (IRM) Specialist
with strong expertise in
Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management
. The role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing insider risk policies, driving investigations, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders across security, HR, and legal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management (Mandatory)

  1. Design, draft, onboard, and manage
    policies and use cases
    within the Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management (IRM) platform.
  2. Create and maintain
    customized policy templates
    aligned with organizational insider risk scenarios.
  3. Configure and optimize
    adaptive protection features
    and
    data connectors
    to enhance visibility and risk insights.

  4. Act as the
    Subject Matter Expert (SME)
    for Purview IRM settings, including:

  5. Detection groups

  6. Priority user groups

  7. Policy indicators

  8. Build, maintain, and enhance
    policy templates
    related to:

  9. Departing users

  10. Risky users

  11. Security policy violations

  12. Leverage Purview IRM insights to support and
    collaborate on investigations
    , working closely with:

  13. Security teams

  14. Human Resources

  15. Legal and Compliance teams

  16. Provide
    clear, actionable insights and reports
    for escalated insider risk cases.

  17. Continuously explore and adopt new Purview IRM features and best practices to improve insider risk detection and response.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7–15 years of overall experience in
    Information Security, Risk Management, or Compliance
    .
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management (IRM)
    (mandatory).
  • Proven experience in designing and managing insider risk policies and investigations.
  • Solid understanding of
    data loss prevention (DLP), user behavior analytics, and insider threat concepts
    .
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Security, HR, and Legal.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
