Company Overview

Incorporated in 1962, Tasek Corporation Berhad (a member of Hong Leong Asia Ltd., Singapore) is one of the oldest integrated cement plant in Malaysia and commenced cement production in Ipoh, Perak in 1964 as Tasek Cement Limited. Tasek, from the beginning has been one of the major cement manufacturer under its established Crocodile brand, "Cap Buaya".

Job Responsibilities

1. IT Infrastructure & System Operations
  • System Administration: Manage and support company servers, including Windows, VMWare, and Linux environments.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Perform repairs, servicing, and replacement of computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Network Management: Handle network administration, including the maintenance of network devices and cabling systems.
  • Fixed Asset Control: Responsible for IT fixed asset management and controlling monthly computer stationery and office expenses.
  • IT Project Implementation and management.
2. Application & User Support Software
  • Configuration: Install, configure, and support software like Microsoft Office and Defender, PCs, and network equipment.
  • Key Application Support: Provide system support for critical applications, including PowerBiz System, Maximo Plant Maintenance System, M365 Cloud, WeighMan System, firewall, and Antivirus System.
  • Multimedia Support: Manage and support the company's CCTV system.
  • Meeting Coordination: In charge of video conference meetings using platforms like Zoom, MS Team, and Google meet.
  • Group Coordination: Oversee Tasek Concrete on IT issues.
3. Security & Compliance
  • Security Oversight: Oversee the security of the company's computing resources.
  • Policy Adherence: Observe and adhere to company's policies and procedures at all times.
  • Quality & Safety: Adhere to Safety, Health & Environment procedures and quality management requirements (e.g., ISO, 5S) in all aspects of work.
