Teaching with hands-on animal care and interaction. The role could involve educating the public, especially children, about animals, nature, and sustainable farming practices. Located near to MRT PUTRA PERMAI, Seri Kembangan. Being able to speak Mandarin is an advantage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Care for and ensure the well-being of animals in the Ranger Outpost (RO).

  2. Upkeep and decorate the RO to maintain its appeal. Innovate and improve items or displays in the RO to attract and engage more customers.

  3. Engage with visitors of all ages by answering questions and providing information to enhance their educational experience.

  4. Manage weekly social media posts under the #FarmBuddies initiative to promote educational content.

  5. Coordinate, prepare and conduct JFR, FRE, and CSR programs for kids, schools, corporations, or organisations.

  6. Design age-appropriate activities, campaigns, and workshops for special occasions or events (e.g., CNY, Raya, Deepavali, Christmas, Merdeka, WWD, WAD). collaborating with relevant organizations (e.g., Perhilitan, NGOs). Plan, evaluate and improve the programs/workshops based on feedback.

  7. Create and implement enrichment activities for animals. Work with the Ops team to plan and implement projects effectively.

  8. Designing and preparing educational and interactive signages. Establishing an animal information library for visitors.

  9. Act as a tour guide for school groups, ensuring an engaging and educational experience.

  10. Handle other assigned tasks as directed.

  11. Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science / Biodiversity / Early Childhood Education or other relevant field; or have experience in teaching

  12. Able to work on weekend, public holidays and school holidays

  13. Being able to speak Mandarin is an advantage

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (if any):-

  • Able to work under minimum supervision and takes initiatives
  • Ability to deal with problematic and/or difficult people and/or situations.

Working Hours & Off Day

  • Working Days: Wednesday to Monday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Off Day: Every Tuesday
  • Lunch and beverages are provided
