Job summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Account Executive to support our finance and accounting operations. As we continue to expand and grow our business, this role will play an important part in strengthening our financial processes and supporting increasing operational needs.

The Account Executive will handle daily accounting tasks, assist in financial reporting, and ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end and year-end responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, good analytical skills, and the ability to meet reporting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:


• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including data entry, invoice processing, and payment preparation


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documentation


• Assist with monthly closing activities and preparation of financial reports


• Prepare financial reports and conduct financial analysis for management decision-making


• Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger updates


• Assist in the preparation of management reports, budgets, and forecasts


• Support internal controls, audits, and compliance with company policies


• Liaise with internal teams, external auditors, and tax agents when required


• Participate in system improvements and other ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Finance Manager

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

- LCCI, Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Working Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

  • Prior experience in auditing is a significant advantage.

  • Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, able to use key functions and formulas (such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PIVOT TABLES, and basic data analysis tools) for for data processing, reconciliations, variance analysis, and preparing financial schedules and reports.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
