Our client, a chemical manufacturing company specializing in pesticides, fertilizers, and other agricultural chemicals, is building a new plant in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

And they're looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Inspector of Works who takes pride in doing things the right way.

This isn't just a desk job - it's about being on-site, hands-on, and making sure everything meets the standards, from design to delivery.

What you'll be doing:

  • Perform M&E inspections at the project site and carry out quality audits on M&E works.
  • Supervise contractor work to ensure it meets required quality and technical standards.
  • Verify daily contractor reports and issue necessary site directions.
  • Coordinate between consultants, contractors, and local authorities to resolve design and construction issues.
  • Monitor material delivery and ensure all meet the required specifications.
  • Review design, support optimization, and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly M&E progress reports and attend site meetings.
  • Follow up on any non-conformance issues and ensure corrective action is taken.

What you bring:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in site supervision of M&E construction works / Inspector of Works.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and pride in delivering quality work.
