Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and optimisation of EMI shielding, thermal interface, wave-absorbing materials, and ferrite products.
  • Conduct material formulation, testing, analysis, and performance validation based on project requirements.
  • Support new product development (NPD) from concept, lab-scale trials, pilot runs, to mass production transfer.
  • Analyse material properties such as thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, shielding effectiveness, and absorption performance.

Process & Manufacturing Support

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure smooth scale-up from R&D to production.
  • Assist in troubleshooting process, yield, and quality issues related to materials and formulations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency, performance stability, and manufacturability.

Project & Team Support

  • Assist the R&D Manager in project planning, timelines, documentation, and reporting.
  • Guide and mentor junior R&D engineers or technicians on experimental methods and testing standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, external labs, and customers for technical discussions and material evaluations.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain technical reports, SOPs, test data, and R&D documentation.
  • Ensure R&D activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality systems.
  • Support customer technical inquiries, audits, and sample evaluations when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7, RM10,000.00 per month
