Equipment Engineer/Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on maintenance and support for Advantest V93k testers and TEL probers (such as TEL Prexio XL and TEL Prexa models).
  • Identify and resolve issues at the tester-prober interface, including problems like contact failures, alignment errors, and communication faults.
  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance, calibrations, and correlation tests to uphold equipment standards.
  • Maximize equipment availability and facilitate quick recovery from any downtime incidents.
  • Work alongside Product Engineers to improve test cell stability and boost overall yield.
  • Liaise with external vendors for equipment servicing, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Engage in ongoing improvement initiatives and projects aimed at reducing costs and increasing efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in equipment development or maintenance within an industrial setting.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Proven expertise in maintaining testers and working in a test environment.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and proactive in taking initiative.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate clear and efficient interactions.
