Junior Machinist

• To support machinist and maintenance team by ensuring all die sets and machine components are inspected, maintained and prepared according to standards.
• Perform routine checking, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of dies sets.

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Certificate in Tool & Die or equivalent
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
• Minimum one (1) year relevant working experience in manufacturing sector
• Own transport is required
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and also as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, responsible, punctual, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with carrier tape production is an added advantage

• Inspection the die set following the standard specification
• Count and record the die quantity produced or processed.
• Troubleshoot and support repair works during machine or equipment breakdown.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of inspection results and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety rules, procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, dies, and work areas.
• Perform die grinding tasks.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by direct superior from time to time.
