Job Responsibilities
• Prepare, compile, and submit Main Claims to JPS (Jabatan Pengairan dan Saliran) according to contract requirements.
• Liaise closely with JPS officers, consultants, and internal project teams to ensure accuracy and timely submission of claims.
• Verify site progress and measure actual work done together with site team for monthly valuations.
• Review, evaluate, and certify subcontractor claims, VO proposals, and final accounts.
• Maintain full documentation, measurement records, and cost tracking for the project.
• Assist in contract administration, procurement, and issuing site instructions when required.
• Monitor project budget, costing, material usage, and cost-to-complete forecast.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, specifications, and JPS procedures.
Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years experience in construction; experience with JPS projects is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of contract (PWD/JPS standards), measurement, and progress claim preparation.
• Able to work independently at site with good communication & coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic), and QS documentation.
