Job Summary

:

We are looking for a JR Accountant to join our fast-paced business environment. This role will work directly with the Accounting Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and overall efficiency in the accounting department. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

:

  • Assist in preparing financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Perform general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accurate record-keeping.
  • Support tax preparation and compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Conduct periodic financial analysis to support decision-making and cost control.
  • Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting Manager on process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Stay updated with accounting regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).
  • 3+ years of experience in general accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Knowledge in the manual accounting system is a must.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
