Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support all DBMS/RDBMS platforms utilized by the Tech COE team.

  • Oversee key database operations including:

  • Database release management, uptime monitoring, and optimization.

  • Security management, user access, and permission controls.
  • Troubleshooting, incident resolution, backup, recovery, and archival.

  • Provide hands-on and advisory support for system integration and database-related tasks:

  • Conduct user requirement studies.

  • Perform backend development (C#.NET) for web and Windows services.
  • Design, configure, and implement databases and SQL scripts (e.g., stored procedures).
  • Support data migration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
  • Manage DB integrations such as SSIS and prepare/manage test data.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for in-house software development and with vendors for system deployment and maintenance.
  • Ensure proper project documentation and adherence to DevOps practices.
  • Evaluate new DBMS versions, manage database sizing, licensing, and cost estimation.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in software development and system integration.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in MSSQL (On-Premises and Azure Cloud).
  • Proficiency in SSIS, SSAS, T-SQL, and Data Warehousing.
  • Deep understanding of RDBMS concepts, with experience in SQL scripting (joins, subqueries, indexes, views, stored procedures, etc.).
  • Familiarity with web services, Windows services, and API platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
